The Challenge

A large industrial estate in Crawley was experiencing significant water ingress issues due to heavily blocked box gutters. The sheer size of the facility and the height of the roofline presented a significant access challenge. Furthermore, the estate was fully operational, meaning our work had to be carried out with minimal disruption to the businesses operating below.

The gutters had accumulated years of debris, including leaves, moss, and general industrial fallout, leading to overflows during heavy rainfall which threatened the structural integrity and internal operations of the units.

Our Solution

We deployed a comprehensive high-level access strategy. Utilising our advanced gutter vacuum systems equipped with HD cameras, we were able to clear the majority of the gutters safely from the ground. For the most inaccessible and heavily blocked sections, we utilised Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), operated by our IPAF-certified technicians.
